I have a Yamaha guitar. It's the cheapest in the line-up but still plays good. You get biggest bang for the buck with Yamaha.
I wish Yamaha will make the frets with the material that lasts longer such as stainless steel. Or even better, something like carbide that last longer than guitar itself? ^_^ Yamaha's replacement neck costs more than my guitar and re-fretting job costs even more.
I think nickel silver had its time and should belong in the museum.

Because the name "Laminated body" has a bad name.
Some guitar makers glue a few pieces of wood together just to avoid using more costly one piece wood, and not the reason for better resonance.

No tone unfortunately mate, it's just a fiddly pickup selector.

I don't know why they don't just call it a laminate body, because that's EXACTLY what it is.

I would love to have this guitar, but I like a guitar with a lot of tones, so no tone knobs would be a bummer. If I did get it (and wanted to keep it for a while), I'd add some coil-taps.
